Make a Difference in a Child's Life The First Tee of Delaware strives to improve the over-all operation of the facility and programs. We encourage you to volunteer your time and efforts in any of the following areas:
Assistant Instructors: help our professionals teach the children golf and life skills education. As we continue to grow the program, we strive to maintain a small student: teacher ratio to ensure that the children continue to have quality instruction.
Special Needs: Individuals with special needs often require a 1:1 teacher to student ratio. Our goal is to extend our services to many children, no matter what their challenges may be.
Mentors: The First Tee of Delaware has established a mentoring program to match qualified mentors with juniors in the program. The mentors are afforded an opportunity to make a positive impact on a child’s life. To find out more about how to become a mentor, please call the Administrative Office at (302) 384-8759 or (302) 384-8764 for more details.
Golf Tournament: Various positions available to help coordinate junior golf tournaments, as well as, fundraising golf tournaments.
We are a non-profit organization that relies heavily on our volunteer resources. By adding a volunteer team of dedicated individuals to our current staff, we can accomplish many of our goals at The First Tee of Delaware.
* Background checks are required and will be performed if you are interested in working directly with children.
